Hold and Secure

Parents – earlier today, @WRPS Today advised our school be placed in a ‘hold and secure’ due to a police investigation in the neighbourhood that didn’t involve the school. The hold and secure has now been lifted and everyone at St. Kateri is safe.

St. Kateri Tekakwitha Angel Tree

Once again our beautiful tree is up in the front foyer of our school. Christmas is a magical time of year and as the Christmas holidays draw closer, we would like to do what we can to help families in need of support this Christmas. Let’s make this a memorable Christmas and light up the faces of children in our parish on Christmas Day.

In the next few days our tree will be transformed from a plain tree to a magical angel tree. Students are invited to come and pick a paper angel from the tree and purchase a gift for a child. The gifts will be brought to St. Aloysius Parish where they will be distributed.

We will raise our Angel Tree on Friday November 22th. Please bring unwrapped gifts to the library by Friday December 13th as the donated gifts will be delivered to St Aloysius Parish later that afternoon.

Your Angel Tree Representative,
Mrs. Schneider
