Terry Fox Run/Walk
This year marks the 40th Anniversary of Terry Fox’s Marathon of Hope. Unfortunately, we are not able to hold a school-wide event as in years past; however, we feel it is important for our school community to remember Terry’s legacy and what he set out to achieve, as well as support cancer research.
To that end, each of our twenty-three classes will be taking part in their own class Terry Fox run/walk the week of September 28th.
St. Kateri will be collecting donations using SchoolCashOnline (if you haven’t already done so, please sign up at http://wcdsb.schoolcashonline.com/ ). Donations will be forwarded to The Terry Fox Foundation.
Thank you in advance for your support!
Orange Shirt Day
Orange Shirt Day is this Wednesday, September 30. Orange shirts will be worn across Ontario in recognition and memory of all the Indigenous children whose culture, language, and freedom were lost, oppressed or challenged. For more information https://orangeshirtday.org/about-us.html
First Communion – Sunday, October 4th @ 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.
It is happening a few months later than originally scheduled, but we send our prayers and best wishes to our Grade 3 students who are celebrating the sacrament of First Communion at St. Aloysius Parish this Sunday, October 4th at 1:00 p.m. or 4:00 p.m.

- Max. two students per hoop
