Bulldog Bulletin – Week of November 23, 2020
School Visitors – Including Parents
Parents – with our region now in the ‘Red Zone’, please note the procedures for dropping off students late or picking students up during the school day we are asking everyone to follow. This notice has been placed on our front entrance doors as a reminder. Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
Parents and Visitors
- Please ring the bell and wait for instructions from the office. Please do not enter the building unless directed to do so.
- Students being dropped off late will be directed to come to the office without a parent accompanying them.
- Parents picking up children from school – please wait outside the building for your child.
Bus Cancellation/School Closure
Parents – this information was shared by the WCDSB last week, but as a reminder, schools will be closed this year when inclement weather causes transportation (buses) to be canceled. Learning will still takes place on these days and by 10:00 a.m. teachers will post learning tasks for the day on Google Classroom as well as be available for instruction, guidance and help during our regular school hours.
School Picture Day
A reminder that School Picture Day is tomorrow – November 25th. Individual photos will be taken – unfortunately, class/group pictures are not possible due to safety reasons.
Lifetouch Photography’s safety protocols have been approved by our school board.
Parent-Teacher Phone Interviews have been scheduled this week. We ask that parents connect with their child’s teacher should they require an alternate time. Interviews have been scheduled for 10 minutes.
Virtual Lockdown Drill
Each year, schools in Ontario are required to conduct two Lockdown Drills. Our first scheduled drill is Friday morning. Teachers will explain and review, in age appropriate language, the reasons why we practice Lockdown Drills. Should you have any questions, please contact Ms. Kavanagh or Mr. Lynch.
