Monday, May 7 – Opening Prayer will highlight the gift of Catholic Education

Tuesday, May 8 – Best-selling parenting author, Ann Douglas, presents to parents in our Learning Commons (Library).  Brought to you by our Catholic School Council.

Kindergarten Parent Meeting

Parents of children attending JK or SK for the first time are invited to our Parent Meeting and Welcome to Kindergarten Night on Thursday, May 31 from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Learning Commons.  Where possible, we are asking both parents attend.  One parent will attend the Parent Meeting and the other attends the Welcome to Kindergarten hands on component with your child.

Grade 3 and Grade 6 EQAO Assessments

From May 22 to 31, students in Grade 3 and 6 will be writing the Education Quality and Accountability Office (EQAO) Assessment of Reading, Writing, and Mathematics Primary and Junior Division, Spring 2018.

These province-wide tests are developed by Ontario teachers and assessment experts and resemble the work children do in class every day.

We ask that you ensure your child is well rested and, if at all possible, please avoid appointments during this time.

Parents requesting more information about the assessment can access it at .

Good Luck to our Grade 4-8 students as they prepare to participate in our school track and field meet on Tuesday, May 22 at Resurrection CSS.  Parents are invited to attend and cheer on students.  Thank you to Mr. Jagas and Mr. Martins who have taken leadership roles with the meet.  Thank you also to our Catholic School Council, who is paying for bus transportation for all students.
